[The gust of wind at least alerted him, although it still startled him just a touch. He was sitting on the couch, legs folded and dressed in his own simple blue kimono. The eyepatch Diluc got him was on his face, he had put it back on once he realized he would have company. He set the magi-comm device on the side table and then held his arms open for Venti.]
[ Seeing Kaeya's arms open like that, Venti smiles and takes a few steps forward. He wraps his arms around Kaeya and pulls the other in close, holding him in a tight hug. It feels nice holding onto his friend like this. He's actually impressed and delighted that they've come to get this close and bond. And he honestly, now, couldn't imagine himself without the other in his life. ]
Kaeya, my friend.
[ His tone is light, almost playful. Very typical of him, though. ]
[He answered against Venti's kimono and leaned back to lay out on the couch, pulling Venti with him so they could cuddle properly. Already he was feeling the anxiety ebb away, he curled a little closer against the archon. There was a soft, protesting noise and he had to shift again but soon, he settled once more.
There was a visible cat tail now poking out of his kimono with matching ears on his head. He grumbled against Venti's neck.]
[ He's...teasing even as he gets comfortable settled against Kaeya. He gets comfortable on top of Kaeya, snuggling into him. The cat ears and tail look pretty cute on him, he thinks. Certainly one of the cutest cats he's ever seen - and it's nice given that he no longer has to manage an allergy. That'd ruin his attempt at being a good friend here right now. ]
And who knows, it changes so often. There's no real point in getting too used to anything.
Hm... not really tired. I think my mind is still racing too much to really want to sleep just yet. The last thing I expected was to fall for someone I used to consider my brother.
[And that's all he had really wanted. He just wanted his brother back. Romantic feelings were complicated and terrifying.
But it wasn't like he didn't want them because he really did love Diluc. He sighed.]

I don't think I'm going to ever get used to that.

This place is exhausting sometimes, you know?
[He arms easily curled around Venti's smaller frame and he turned slightly so they were both cuddled into the couch. His tail swished lazily.]
So is kizuna, for that matter.

It can be.
[ And being in your feelings make it worse, sometimes. ]
But if you decide to sleep, or just want to stay here for awhile like this, I'm here to stay.
[ Because he loves Kaeya, and this is how he treats people he cares for. ]
